Diabula Rasa members were born and raised in Ravenna, in the heart of Italy, where medieval history took a lot of plot twists.The founder, leader and frontman Luca Veroli has been breathing medieval music since childhood and he’s developed an urgency to dig into ancient music belonging to different cultures. After many years of rambling performances, he embraced the mission to spread ancient music to young people.
The secret ingredients for this recipe are: music research with a scientifical approach, a mix of medieval instruments and metal sounds, tailor-made barbarian costumes and an outstanding scenography.
